Bio
Robert King is a multidisciplinary artist focused in product design. Through the fabrication of interactive, emotionally potent objects (often multiples), made through digital and physical processes relating to commercial manufacturing, he questions the industrial design and marketing trends prevalent within his lifetime as well as the cultural identities, lifestyles, and feelings made in their aftermath.
Robert King was born in Los Angeles on May 16, 2000 and remained there until moving to Chicago in 2018 to attend the School Of The Art Institute of Chicago. He is currently graduated with a BFA with focus in designed objects.
Robert King also plays music in two bands, Somb, signed to Free Advice, and Guilt Trip Cluster Fuck.
