Rob Ladia - Ladybugs
A music video for a song off of my solo album, Wet Brain. In the video, I perform multiple activities which are overlayed on top of each other. Motion is accentuated by the low frame rate and shutter speed used to capture footage. Lighting is also edited to be a glowing overwhelming white, which I sometimes disappear into during the video. Bursting with energy.

Police Line: A Skate Video
Dimensions of object: (1’x6’x1’4”)
Police Line is a performance video and physical object made to educate skaters on strict municipal codes against skateboarding in Chicago and their rights when confronted by police. The piece is carried to different public spaces in the Chicago Loop, for skaters to utilize until inevitably shut down at each location.
The work is made of wood and steel angle irons. It was designed at a scale to be approachable to beginner skaters, while also readable as repurposed police barricades to the public.
