Electric Guitar Solo For Two
An experience performed by two people. The goal was to reimage and deconstruct the guitar solo as a more intimate experience with input from the audiennce. I created a simple battery-powered guitar pedal with a pcb I designed that controls pitch and distortion. This is controlled by the listner. The “pedal” only has two small twist knobs that were designed to be easily controlled by a second user with both hands. The audio is connected to a earbuds given to both performers and also to an ipad which records the feedback created. The two players can then listen back to what they made and send it to themselves when they are done.
